Zonta Club of Makati and Environs hosts art exhibit for sexually abused girls

The Zonta Club of Makati and Environs, the Philippines, hosted "The Art of Healing" art exhibit to showcase the vibrant and colorful works of Melissa Yeung Yap, a talented artist who has dedicated her latest collection to child survivors under the care of the club's Psychological Center for Sexually Abused Girls. Through her abstract works, Melissa aims to represent the healing process and women's strength.

The exhibit will run from 2-15 July and had an artist's reception on opening day at Art Lounge Manila, Molito in Alabang.

In addition to the paintings, the exhibition will also feature artwork printed on scarves. These scarves were produced in collaboration with Yong Studio, which also created textile patterns based on Yeung Yap's artwork. These scarves are stylish pieces celebrating women and the strength and vibrancy that every woman embodies. The scarves exude an elegant tropical chic vibe, perfect for women who want to make a statement with their fashion choices.
