Zonta Club of Kauai hosts fundraising play

The Zonta Club of Kauai Foundation, USA, promoted a Zonta Red Carpet Gala Scholarship Fundraiser play called Mama Won't Fly. The club performed the play at the Kauai Community Players warehouse in Puhi, Kauai, on 23 February. 

A portion of the ticket sales went towards scholarships, and patrons generously donated at the event, especially before and during intermission when food and drinks were sold. The club was able to raise US$9,000 for its scholarships. 

Club member Jo Grande directed the play, and the performances by President Lori Benkert brought many smiles and laughter from the audience.
