Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao holds a Mother's Day tribute

On 6 May, the Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao, Philippines, partnered with Padday na Yena, which translates to "Made by Mothers" in English, to celebrate their beloved, hardworking yenas (mothers) who continuously make products for their Knit and Crochet project.

Padday na Yena is a livelihood project created for Cagayana women to empower stay-at-home mothers to have their income to boost their self-worth and augment their family's needs.

During the celebration, the club reminded the mothers that they, too, need care and attention while caring for their families and attending to their livelihoods.

Afterward, the club distributed gifts and tokes to the mothers to symbolize their appreciation and love for the women who uphold its advocacy and service programs.

The club would like to thank Ms. Febe Marl Gamiao Paat for her empowering presentation at the celebration.
