Sharing knowledge, sharing smiles for young children

The Zonta E-Club Thailand I organized educational and creative activities for children on 11 May at the Tripetch 2 Community Preschool Development Center through a project titled “Sharing Knowledge, Sharing Smiles for Young Children.”

Led by Club President Joanna Zigrino, alongside Parima Noinadee and students from the Faculty of Science at Chulabhorn Royal Academy, the initiative focused on supporting early childhood development through storytelling sessions, coloring activities and educational engagement.

The activities were designed to encourage imagination, creativity and learning development among young children. Milk, dolls and educational books were also distributed to support the children’s well-being and early education.

The event created a warm and joyful atmosphere, with children enthusiastically participating throughout the day.

The project reflected the club's commitment to building a better world for women and girls by promoting education, child development and equal opportunities from an early age. Club members said the initiative helped create a safe and encouraging environment where children could learn, express themselves and build confidence.

The event also strengthened Zonta’s visibility within the local community through collaboration among women leaders, youth award recipients and university students working together to create positive social impact.

The project’s goals were achieved through cooperation among club members, students and volunteers, who carefully planned age-appropriate educational activities and gathered donations of milk, toys and books for the children.

A teacher from the preschool shared, “The children were very happy today. They enjoyed every activity and were excited to receive books and toys that will help support their learning.”

One student volunteer commented, “Seeing the smiles and laughter of the children made us realize how small acts of kindness can create meaningful impact in the community.”
