Seven Zonta clubs unite for “Zonta – Infinite Possibilities” art exhibition
In support of Zonta International’s core mission to build a better world for women and girls, the Zonta Club of Hsinchu, Taiwan, hosted the “Zonta – Infinite Possibilities” joint art exhibition in collaboration with six sister clubs — Taipei I, Taipei II, Taipei III, Shin Zonta, Taoyuan and Miaoli.
Running from 1 to 31 October, at the Hsinchu Club Women’s Center, the exhibition featured 24 themed artworks created by 48 Zontian artists. The works explored issues central to Zonta’s advocacy, including women’s empowerment, climate change, international service, anti-violence initiatives and the movement to end child marriage. Each piece reflected the artists’ interpretations of compassion, resilience and the multifaceted spirit of women.
The event marked the culmination of a year-long series of empowerment programs, including a June lecture by Ms. Lo Si-Jung on women’s empowerment through art, two film appreciation sessions in July encouraging dialogue on life and health, and two art workshops in August — “Encountering Pollock” and “Exploring Zentangle.” Together, these activities fostered artistic collaboration, community connection and reflection.
Through partnerships with Golden Z and Z Clubs, the exhibition demonstrated the spirit of intergenerational creativity and unity that defines Zonta. All artworks are also featured on the Zonta District 31 official website, combining online and offline platforms to amplify Zonta’s advocacy campaigns — Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women and Zonta Says NOW to Gender-Equal Climate Action.
“Zonta – Infinite Possibilities” stands as a testament to the limitless creativity, compassion and commitment of Zontians to inspire change and make the world see the power of women in art and action.
