Every year, the Zonta Foothills Club of Boulder County, USA, with its Pantherz Z Club, honors women who have improved the lives of women in their community through its Woman of Achievement award. The clubs will recognize the recipient on International Women's Day and Rose Day.
As a further celebration of 8 March, club members will award yellow roses to those who have made them stronger or empowered them to succeed. They will also create cards and visit teachers, mentors, mothers and aunts to personally award them this special recognition.
