On 20 October, members of the Zonta Club of Saint Sofia, District 30, and students from Daga (Rainbow) Vocal Studios and Movin’ ART Dance Academy supported the efforts of Sofia Capital Municipality to make the city a better place to live.
The planting of the New Forest of Sofia is part of the initiative of Sofia Capital Municipality to "think clean". The aim is to plant a little over 55 acres of forests of lime, acacia and cherry trees within three forestation periods. In total, 125,000 trees will be planted.
During the event, members planted trees and enjoyed each other’s company while singing and dancing with the students.
