Zonta Club of Manila I Continues Film and Scholarship Program

The Zonta Club of Manila I, District 17, has been in existence for 22 years and over the course of those years, club members realized it was becoming difficult to explain all of the history and projects the club had conducted since their chartering.

To easily share this information with the community and potential new members, the club decided to host a film festival showcasing a film on their projects.

In their film, the club decided to focus on combating the issue of teenage pregnancy.

Additionally, the club focuses much of its efforts on a longstanding scholarship program.

After the club's founding in 1996, members decided to establish a scholarship to help students receive stipends for school. Members fund the scholarship program through generous personal financial donations.

In turn, Zontians says the scholarship imparts the club's values of integrity, trustworthiness, and charity on the students.
