Zonta Club of Kathmandu organizes cardiac camp

To capture the heart and love of Valentine's Day, the Zonta Club of Kathmandu, Nepal, coordinated with the Jayanti Memorial Trust and the Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center to organized a free cardiac camp at Masine Village, Chandragiri Ward No. 2.

The club gave 306 patients a heart exam, and cases that needed further follow-ups were connected to the respective hospitals. Patients coming in had to be pre-registered by ward officials and included children, the elderly and men and women of all ages.

The club was delighted that many people took advantage of the event and is grateful to the medical team and other volunteers for their time and efforts.
