Zonta Club of Ilocos Norte celebrates International Day of the Girl Child

The Zonta Club of Ilocos Norte, Philippines, celebrated International Day of the Girl Child with Calayab Elementary School. 

During their visit, the club educated the students on the importance of International Day of the Girl Child. The students learned:

1. Girls should be loved and respected.
2. Regardless of gender or sexual orientation, we are all equal and should be equally treated and respected.

The club also donated school supplies and food packs for all 77 students, paper and ink for the school and 10 hygiene and first aid kits for the faculty.
