Zonta Club of Hamina looks to the future with tree planting

The Zonta Club of Hamina, Finland, planted trees in the newly opened Oolanninpuisto Park. The tree plantings symbolized how Zonta, which translates to fertilizer in Finnish,  provides a nurturing environment for all women around the world. As trees symbolize life and cannot grow without roots, the club wanted to highlight the important role that a good and fruitful connection with others plays in human growth.

The club believes that with good zonta, we will all have a fruitful connection with each other. They hope as the trees grow big and magnificently, friendship and connection will as well.
