On short notice, the Housing Hope organization asked the Zonta Club of Everett, USA, to help spruce up their community garden space at Twin Lakes Landing in preparation for Governor Jay Inslee's visit later that week. Due to the club's and the staff's hard work, the residents got new plants and opportunities after the space was cleaned. The Housing Hope is a non-profit organization that provides affordable housing with tailored services such as life-skills training, childcare, case management and employment services for struggling families.
