Zonta Club of Tuguegarao honors young leaders
In a heartwarming celebration of youth leadership and empowerment, the Zonta Club of Tuguegarao, Philippines, proudly recognized 16 outstanding members of the Z Club of Lallo National High School with the prestigious Zonta Leadership Award during the school’s SY 2024–2025 Recognition Program on 10 April.
The awarding ceremony was graced by the club officers, including current Club President Liza Mora-Arroyo, Immediate Past President and Lallo Vice Mayor Maria Olivia Pascual, Past President Genoveva Rios and Treasurer Mildred Serrano. Their presence highlighted the Club’s continued commitment to uplifting and mentoring the next generation of female leaders in the region.
The 16 awardees, all young women who have shown exemplary leadership, advocacy and service in their school and communities, stood as proud symbols of the Zonta mission: building a better world for women and girls. The Zonta Leadership Award not only acknowledged their achievements but also encouraged them to further their journey as changemakers.
With the support of their advisers and school head, and the sponsorship of the Zonta club and the Lallo LGU, the Z Club of Lallo National High School continues to stand out as a leading example of student-driven advocacy and community service.
