Zonta Club of Tuguegarao and Z-Club of Lal-lo High School joins Aids Candlelight Memorial Day

In honor of International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day, the Zonta Club of Tuguegarao, Philippines, led by Club President Maria Olivia B. Pascual and Municipal Health Officer Dr. Maria Concepcion Abbang, gathered at the Esplanade to light candles in memory of those lost to HIV and AIDS.

Joined by members of the Z-club of Lal-lo National High School, the solemn ceremony aimed to honor individuals who bravely fought the disease and raise awareness about combating stigma.

The event began with a heartfelt prayer led by Rev. Fr. Franklin Manibog. Each candle symbolized a lost life, emphasizing the ongoing battle against the epidemic.

Celebrating its 40th year, the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial remains a powerful global initiative for HIV awareness.
