Zonta Club of Quirino hosts lecture and outreach program for high school girls

The Zonta Club of Quirino, Philippines, successfully concluded a Lecture and Outreach program at Maddela Integrated School of Arts and Trades (MISAT), providing education and essential resources to high school girls.

During the event, Zontian Attorney Jobelle Maron led a discussion on the Safe Spaces Act, also known as the “Bawal Bastos Law” (RA 11313), empowering students with knowledge of their rights and protections under the law. In addition to the lecture, participants received hygiene kits, reinforcing the club’s commitment to promoting self-care and confidence among young girls.

This initiative not only provides essential hygiene products but also educates and inspires these girls to prioritize their well-being with confidence and dignity.

The club expressed its gratitude to MISAT Principal Rolando G. Gacusana, focal person Zontian Edith Faustino and all Zontians who contributed to the program’s success.

The club continues to uplift communities and advocate for a brighter, more empowered future for women and girls.
