Zonta Club of Nepean Valley Inc supports vulnerable women with care packages

The Zonta Club of Nepean Valley Inc, Australia, assembled backpacks filled with essential items to support local women’s charities assisting those in need or escaping domestic violence.

The project was made possible through the generosity of a local football club, which provided financial support. Members of the local Girl Guides supported the initiative by helping pack the 200 backpacks at their Guide Hall.

The filled backpacks were evenly distributed among five local women’s charities, each of which extended heartfelt thanks for the much-needed supplies.

Developed in collaboration with input from the benefiting organizations, the initiative was designed to provide relief and dignity to vulnerable women across the community.
