Zonta Club of Madagascar empowers women through training and community support

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Zonta Club of Madagascar, Madagascar, launched two impactful initiatives aimed at empowering women through education, financial independence and community support.

On 7 March, the club initiated a composting training program for the women of Ambohimalaza, marking the start of a continuous skills development initiative. In addition to literacy classes, the program includes financial management training, equipping women with the tools necessary to achieve independence and economic growth. The dedication and enthusiasm of the participants reflect the transformative power of education and skill-building.

On 8 March, to honor International Women's Day, the club carried out a solidarity initiative, distributing essential items to women in Betongolo and Alasora. This effort aimed to provide comfort and dignity to women in need, reinforcing the club's commitment to supporting and uplifting women in their communities.
