Zonta Club of Kauai's Gal's Roundup Service Project

The Zonta Club of Kauai, HI, USA, hosted a free service project, "Gal’s Roundup," for 6th to 8th-grade girls, their mothers and caregivers from Kapaa Middle School. This event was made possible with the support of community partners including Kapaa Middle School, Hale Opio and Hawaii PTSA. Participants enjoyed a fun-filled day of painting, temporary tattoos, line dancing, prize drawings and delicious local food. The event provided an opportunity for girls to bond with their mothers, while Zonta members actively participated and shared the organization's mission: “Building a Better World with Women and Girls.”

This hands-on service project perfectly embodied Zonta’s commitment to empowering women and girls in the community.
