Zonta Club of Kauai attends Area 1 meeting hosted by Zonta Club of Oahu

Members of Zonta clubs across Hawaii gathered for the Area 1 Meeting on 12 April, hosted by the Zonta Club of Oahu at the DoubleTree by Hilton Alana Waikiki Beach.

Attendees included members from the Zonta Club of Kauai, Zonta Club of Hilo and Zonta Club of Hanalei. The meeting featured a series of empowering presentations by guest speakers including Angelina Mercado, executive director of the Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence; Tammy Battanga, director of community involvement at Ho‘ōla Nā Pua; and Zonta International District 9 Governor Gloria Salas.

Club presidents shared updates through individual club reports, and the District 9 Nominating Committee also presented during the event. The gathering fostered collaboration, leadership development and shared advocacy among Zonta’s Hawaii clubs.
