Zonta Club of Hong Kong and HKU Golden Z club: A day of joy at Ocean Park

On 15 February, the HKU Golden Z Club of Zonta Club of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, collaborated with a local charity — Youth Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) — to organize a heartwarming event titled “Travel to Ocean Park 2025.” The initiative brought smiles to 23 underprivileged families, a total of 80 members, by offering them a day filled with fun and happy memories at the Hong Kong Ocean Park.

The families were accompanied by club members, who divided into 8 smaller groups to ensure personalized support and engagement throughout the day. From 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., participants explored the park’s attractions together, creating a joyful and inclusive experience for all.

Mrs. Wong, a participant from Group 6, shared her gratitude: "It was a delightful tour. It’s the first time my family visited the Hong Kong Ocean Park, and my kids were very excited about it."

This meaningful event emphasized the importance of community care, support and inclusivity. By sharing laughter and engaging in fun activities, the day not only uplifted spirits but also fostered connections and created lasting memories for both the families and volunteers.
