Zonta Club of Cebu I Inter-School Oratorical contest: A platform for young voices

The Z club of Benedicto College recently hosted an inspiring Inter-School Oratorical Contest, proudly sponsored by the Zonta Club of Cebu I, Philippines. This event brought together 15 talented female high school students who competed passionately for three major cash prizes of PHP 5,000, PHP 4,000 and PHP 3,000. To encourage participation and foster the development of leadership and communication skills, all contestants received a participation prize.

In addition to the cash awards, the winners were honored with a Zonta medal and a Certificate of Recognition, acknowledging their exceptional performances. To the club members, every participant was a winner, as all expressed their heartfelt sentiments against violence toward women and girls, highlighting a crucial social issue.

The Inter-School Oratorical Contest has become a cherished tradition of the Z club, successfully sustaining its momentum for the past four years under the supervision of the Education Committee of Zonta Club of Cebu I. This annual event not only nurtures the oratorical skills of young women but also empowers them to voice their opinions and advocate for change.
