Zonta Club Cebu II inspires future leaders at Z Club orientation

The Zonta Club Cebu II, Philippines, held an orientation for the members of the soon-to-be-inducted Z Club of Our Lady of Joy Learning Center (OLJLC) in Consolacion, Cebu. This event marks a significant step in nurturing young leaders within the community.

The orientation's goal was to familiarize the young members with the mission and activities of Zonta’s Z Clubs. The clubs are integral in empowering young adults, offering them opportunities to develop essential communication and leadership skills, explore various career paths and enhance their international awareness and understanding.

During the event, several Zontians from the sponsoring club were present to support and guide the students. The attendees included: Petite Garcia, Mary Rose Maghuyop (OLJLC School Director), Cita Chan, Lucy Carcel, Dr. Vivien Seno and Margie Sy. They shared valuable insights and experiences, emphasizing the importance of active participation in Z Club activities to foster personal growth and community involvement.

The organizing students from OLJLC actively engaged in the orientation, displaying enthusiasm and interest in the prospects of the Z Club. The session concluded with a renewed commitment from both the club and OLJLC to collaborate in nurturing future leaders through meaningful and impactful initiatives. With the foundation laid during this orientation, the upcoming Z Club is poised to contribute significantly to the community.
