Zonta Bendigo Inc supports 2025 Bendigo Sustainability Festival

Zonta Bendigo Inc, Australia, participated in the 2025 Bendigo Sustainability Festival as part of the club’s ongoing focus on the Zonta Says NOW campaign. This year’s festival, themed “Many Hands,” was inspired by the Audrey Hepburn quote: “We were born with two hands, one to help ourselves and one to help others.” The theme celebrated collective action and community spirit in building a sustainable future for Bendigo.

The event, which featured a strong focus on engaging children and families, included a variety of activities such as talks, stalls, kitchen table conversations, an EV Expo, a sustainable fashion show, clothes swap, repair café, musical performances and more—all highlighting practical ways to live more sustainably.

The Zonta marquee showcased the Zonta Says NOW campaign while promoting the club’s local and international service initiatives. Children were invited to contribute to a recycled banner by adding handprints, stories and coloring—sparking meaningful conversations with their parents about Zonta’s mission and values.

The club engaged with numerous attendees passionate about sustainability and gender equality and later thanked the community through social media for their support, raffle participation and interest in Zonta’s work.
