Zonta Club of Makati and Environs holds strategic planning session for the new biennium

The Zonta Club of Makati and Environs Foundation Inc., Philippines, held its Strategic Planning Session for the 2026-2028 Biennium on 23 May at the Rockwell Business Center in Makati City, Philippines.

The session brought together incoming board members, advisers, committee heads and club members to prepare for the upcoming biennium and strengthen the organization’s programs and initiatives focused on empowering women and girls through service and advocacy.

Facilitated by Club President-Elect Marcy Kohchet Chua, the strategic planning session highlighted the club’s major committees, flagship projects and advocacy efforts aimed at creating meaningful impact in communities served by the organization.

Committee heads and board directors presented plans and objectives for the next two years, including initiatives related to women’s empowerment, scholarships, education, leadership development, governance, community outreach and advocacy campaigns under Zonta Says NOW and Zonta Says NO.

Programs discussed included Marillac support initiatives, EWSP scholarships, BRAVO Search for Unsung Heroes, Golden Z Club activities, Sining Filipina, FilipinaZ Fair and Brigada Eskwela, among others.

The session also emphasized commemorative and awareness activities such as International Women’s Day, Earth Day, International Day of the Girl Child and the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
