Zonta Club of Makati and Environs earns 100% compliance in DSWD Audit

The Zonta Club of Makati and Environs Foundation Inc, Philippines, has once again achieved full compliance in its annual audit conducted by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), maintaining its license to operate as a registered Social Welfare and Development Agency (SWDA).

The audit, held on 3 June, by DSWD technical staff member John Lloyd G. Balce, assessed the club's adherence to all 34 standard indicators under the DSWD’s Omnibus Guidelines (Memorandum Circulars No. 21 s.2022 and No. 18 s.2024) for Auxiliary SWDAs operating as Resource Agencies. The club earned a perfect 100% sustain rate.

The audit team commended the Zonta club for its operational excellence, offering only minor recommendations for improved documentation and process streamlining. This recognition reinforces their reputation for transparency, accountability and impact-driven service.

The Zonta Club of Makati and Environs remains the only Zonta club in the Philippines with a valid DSWD license, further cementing its role as a leader in social welfare and advocacy for women and girls.
