Zonta Club of Makati and Environs shines at the District 17 Conference in Macau
The Zonta Club of Makati and Environs, Philippines, once again proved its steadfast commitment to service and advocacy as it emerged as one of the most awarded clubs at the 23rd District 17 Conference held at the Andaz Hotel in Macau.
The club proudly took home the Gold Award for Most Outstanding Club of Area 5, standing tall alongside its sister clubs, Zonta Club of Laguna (Silver) and Zonta Club of Muntinlupa (Bronze).
Beyond the top honor, the club also earned accolades across multiple categories:
- Silver Award – Best in Service for its pioneering partnership with the Psychological Center for Abused Girls at Marillac, a safe haven of healing and hope.
- Silver Award – New Golden Z Club Sponsorship, celebrating the launch of the Golden Z Club of University of Makati, which nurtures young leaders in service and advocacy.
- Merit Award – Zonta Says NOW Project, recognizing The Little Vintage Shop, an initiative that champions sustainability while funding the club's charitable programs.
- Bronze Award – Digital Poster of Club Projects, honoring the club’s creative and impactful storytelling in promoting its service and advocacy work.
