Zonta Club of Laguna strengthens community through wellness, culture and public safety initiatives

In a continued commitment to holistic community development, the Zonta Club of Laguna, Philippines, rolled out a series of meaningful projects during the celebration of the Feast of St. Anthony of Padua.

During the 2025 Streetdance Competition, the club joined the San Antonio Barangay Council, SK leaders and other civic groups to promote culture and unity through dance. The event awarded ₱525,000 in prizes, with ₱55,000 donated by the club, highlighting the organization’s support for local talent and cultural preservation.

To promote health and well-being, the Zonta club launched a “Zumba for Wellness” activity at Pacita Complex II Elementary School in collaboration with the ZForce Zumba Group. The event encouraged physical activity, stress relief and community bonding.

In a show of support for public safety, the Laguna club donated radio communication equipment to the San Pedro City Police Department, enhancing emergency response and coordination.
