Sustaining women’s health through service and advocacy

In celebration of Nutrition Month, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lal-lo, Cagayan spearheaded the 2025 Nutrihealth Fest, a yearly convergence of health-centered initiatives designed to benefit the community, particularly women and girls.

The Zonta Club of Tuguegarao, Philippines, actively participated in this meaningful event, sustaining its advocacy for women’s health through free dermatological consultations and treatments. More than 75 women and girls received medical support, made possible through donated medicines and dermatological supplies. The dedicated booth provided by the LGU served as a safe and welcoming space for care and empowerment.

Complementing this effort, the Z Club of Lallo joined the activity by advocating for healthy lifestyles among the youth. Their presence emphasized the importance of preventive health measures and inspired their peers to take active steps in maintaining overall well-being.

In a strong show of solidarity, the Zonta club also signed a pledge of commitment with the LGU of Lal-lo to further promote health and nutrition, reaffirming their shared vision for community development.

Through this partnership, essential health services are closer to the grassroots, working together to build a better and healthier future for women and girls.
