Empowering the next generation to reduce, reuse and reimagine
To mark World Environment Day, the UN Committee of the Zonta Club of Dhaka IV, Bangladesh, organized a special workshop promoting environmental awareness and action for a cleaner, greener planet.
Held in collaboration with Flame Arts Open Studio, the workshop highlighted creative ways to reuse and recycle everyday materials. Participants explored how waste can be transformed into beautiful and sustainable items through hands-on craft activities.
Students from the Gulshan Ladies Community Club and the Gulshan Literacy Program School joined the event, engaging enthusiastically in the activities and learning how small individual efforts can make a meaningful impact on the environment.
The event concluded with a musical performance celebrating the natural beauty of Bangladesh and the importance of environmental stewardship.
