Celebrating unity and impact

The Zonta Club of Pampanga, Philippines, was recognized for its continued support of education and community engagement during the Recognition Stakeholders Convergence hosted by Sindalan National High School on 30 March at the City Civic Center in San Isidro, San Fernando City, Pampanga.

The event was held through the invitation of Principal Lyn Esguerra and brought together community partners and stakeholders who have contributed to the school’s programs and initiatives. Representing the club were Club President Gina Rosario Millan, Past President Gilda Padua, Vice President Leonor Bais and member and resource speaker Angeli Andan.

During the ceremony, the club received a Plaque of Appreciation in recognition of its active participation and ongoing support of the school’s initiatives. Individual Certificates of Appreciation were also presented, and Club President Millan graciously accepted these awards on behalf of the entire club.

Club leaders said the recognition highlights the importance of collaboration between schools, organizations and local stakeholders in supporting women and girls and creating opportunities for future leaders. Through partnerships, educational programs and community engagement, the club continues to advance its mission of advocating for women’s rights, gender equality and access to resources and mentorship.

Members also emphasized that initiatives such as the Recognition Stakeholders Convergence strengthen community relationships and encourage collective action to create lasting, positive change in San Fernando City, Pampanga, and beyond.
