Presentation of Old Age Poverty Project

The Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region recently hosted its yearly event, which brings together social initiatives and supporting foundations.

The Zonta Club Heidelberg Kurpfalz, Germany, was invited to present its long-running project against poverty in old age, in partnership with Caritas Heidelberg. Launched in 2007, the initiative has raised €360,000 to date to support elderly individuals facing financial hardship.

Dr. Philine Freudenberg, head of the club’s social engagement, delivered a compelling presentation on the project’s progress and impact. Following her remarks, many attendees visited the Zonta stand to learn more about the club’s advocacy and community work.
