Zonta Club of Muntinlupa and Environs holds Karapan at Kalinga and Bingo for a Cause

The Zonta Club of Muntinlupa & Environs Foundation, Inc, Philippines, proudly held the “Karapatan at Kalinga: Foundation of Hope Through Advocacy and Faith” in partnership with The Parish of St. James the Great, Ayala Alabang. The program provided legal assistance and restorative justice counseling to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) to uphold their human rights and foster hope behind bars.

A week later, members visited women PDLs at Tunasan City Jail for a morning of music, fellowship, and care. Led by Service Project Chair Priscilla Enriquez and Co-chair Maricar Dela Cruz, the team—joined by Past Area 5 Director Odette Wallace, President Carol Nielsen, Director Emily Hayudini, and new member Paula Blanca Francisco—distributed essential items and food packs to 120 women.

Complementing their advocacy work, the club also hosted “Bingo for a Cause” at Alabang Country Club. The Halloween-themed fundraising event gathered more than 300 participants for an evening of games, prizes and community spirit. Proceeds will support the club’s education, health and empowerment programs for women and girls.
