Zonta Club of Laguna expands access to health care through ongoing medical missions
The Zonta Club of Laguna, Philippines, continues its dedication to public health through its ongoing “Loving Embrace” medical mission program, providing essential healthcare services in collaboration with MOB Foundation Inc.
Recent missions included a comprehensive outreach in Tagaytay City, where doctors Mila and Paulo Borabien, along with nurse J. Acierto, provided medical consultations and administered flu and polio vaccinations. Student volunteers from the SMCL Golden Z Club played an integral role in supporting these services.
The program also reached beneficiaries in San Pedro City, delivering flu vaccines to 113 and 122 individuals in two separate missions. These events offered free health assessments, consultations and educational outreach—all aimed at promoting preventive healthcare and wellness.
At San Roque Elementary School, the club extended the mission to teachers by launching a cervical cancer vaccination program for female educators. Designed to protect and empower those who shape young minds, the initiative ensures long-term health and well-being for the city’s educators.
