Local Zonta Club members take action after Beirut Blast in Lebanon

After the tragic Beirut Blast on 4 August, 2020, members of the Zonta Club of Beirut, Lebanon promptly took action to help.

Members of the club were present on the field identifying and assessing around 100 premises. A budget of over $60,000 was used to sponsor the reparations for 37 homes and buildings. 

The work done by the Zonta Club of Beirut enabled citizens to overcome psychological and material damages from the disaster. If adequate funds and donations are received, the club intends to pursue any future projects that could help the people of Beirut.
