Zonta Club of Laguna boosts public schools during Brigada Eskwela 2025

The Zonta Club of Laguna, Philippines, played a leading role in Brigada Eskwela 2025, joining efforts to improve public school facilities and support inclusive, quality education across the region.

At Pacita Complex National High School, the club collaborated with Lyceum of Alabang – San Pedro Campus, represented by Dr. Danilo Ayap, to donate newly built student armchairs and a 55-inch SMART TV, enhancing both comfort and digital access for students. The school visit was joined by Laguna 1st District Representative and Zonta President Ann Matibag, who worked with Principal Senarillo and SPTA Officers to identify facility needs her office could support.

The club also expanded its Smart TV Donation Program to benefit two more schools: Pacita Complex II Elementary School and Laguna Resettlement Community School. Each school received a brand-new Smart TV to support multimedia instruction, virtual resources and 21st-century learning. Teachers and students now have access to modern educational tools that promote digital literacy and interactive learning.

Additionally, club volunteers returned to Pacita Complex II Elementary for a Paint Drive, donating ₱5,000 worth of paint and supplies while helping refresh and brighten classrooms. The volunteer repainting effort created a more inviting, motivating environment for students ahead of the new school year.

Through these combined efforts, the Zonta club continues to bridge resource gaps, champion youth empowerment and demonstrate the power of community collaboration in shaping brighter educational futures.
