Zonta Club of Kauai supports Women's History Month and International Women's Day

In honor of Women’s History Month 2026, members of the Zonta Club of Kauai, HI, USA, gathered at the Historic County Building steps to celebrate and recognize the powerful impact of women shaping a more sustainable and equitable future.

This year’s theme, “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future,” honors women who are actively rebuilding systems across environmental, economic and social sectors — creating lasting change for generations to come. Together, we continue to advocate, empower and lead with purpose.

And in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2026, the Zonta Club of Kauai was proud to take action with purpose!

With this year’s global theme, “Give To Gain,” Zonta members are embracing collaboration and generosity as powerful tools to accelerate gender equality worldwide.

On 7 March, club members partnered with Habitat for Humanity for a hands-on service project to create stronger futures for women and families in their community.

Club members also highlighted their ongoing efforts to raise awareness and advocate for issues affecting women and girls, including ending gender-based violence, advancing women’s leadership and addressing gender gaps in traditionally male-dominated fields.
