Zonta Club of Isabela youth empowerment award
The Zonta Club of Isabela, Philippines, in partnership with the Golden Z Club of Northeastern College, recently concluded the third ZCI Youth Empowerment Awards.
Finalists participated in an on-the-spot competition that featured essays, posters and slogans addressing social issues and youth leadership. The event highlighted the talent and commitment of Isabela’s young leaders to creating positive change in their communities.
To support the students’ continued academic and digital development, the club awarded a total of 12 laptops and three tablets to winners and top participants. The devices are intended to help students continue their educational journeys while strengthening their ability to advocate, create and lead.
The event also recognized the contributions of parents, coaches, judges, donors and community partners who helped make the program possible. Judges for the competition included Ramon Corazon P. Blanco, Richard Jayson Garan, Jhuna Fernando, Junmarie Caroline Claravall-De Leon, Elton John S. Caranay, Kevin G. Villamor and Christina A. Parubrub-Yere.
Community partners and supporters, including Globe Telecom, Clarisa Agnes, Jose “Bentot” Panganiban, Gemma Bautista and Northeastern College, also played a key role in supporting the initiative.
Through the Youth Empowerment Awards, the Zonta Club of Isabela continues to encourage youth leadership, advocacy and education while equipping the next generation with tools to succeed in a digital and interconnected world.
