Daisy Tsenesa (USAP Community School Class of 2021) was recently awarded a 2026 Zonta Women in STEM Award. She is one of 16 women selected globally in recognition of their work in STEM.
"Being named one of the 16 international recipients of the Zonta Women in STEM Award is truly humbling. It feels less like a personal achievement and more like a moment to pause and appreciate how far a journey can go with the right support and guidance.
I am currently an undergraduate student at Ashesi University, studying Computer Science. My current research focuses on artificial intelligence, specifically exploring computer-use agents and their potential to create meaningful, real-world impact. More broadly, I am interested in how emerging technologies can support everyday business practices and improve access to solutions that people rely on. Alongside this, I co-founded SheaGlow, a health-tech startup that uses AI to support individuals managing skin conditions, with a focus on accessibility and practical impact."
