Zonta Club of Dallas honor members of end-of-year awards ceremony
The Zonta Club of Dallas, TX, USA, celebrated the dedication and contributions of its members during the 2024–2025 End-of-Year Membership Awards, recognizing individuals whose passion and leadership advanced the club’s mission to build a better world for women and girls.
Lindsey Weldon received the Outstanding Project Award for organizing the club’s first “Wine, Women and Thankfulness” friend-raiser event in October. The Outstanding Program Award was presented to Tessa Burgoon for her efforts in coordinating the impactful presentation, “The Missing or Murdered Indigenous Women Crisis,” delivered by Jodi Voice Yellowfish.
Kristin Cutts earned the Outstanding Chairperson Award for her exceptional leadership of the Membership Committee, overseeing subcommittees including Fellowship, Fundraising, Functions and Orientation. Alicia Burroughs was recognized with the Outstanding New Member Award for coordinating the 2025 Amelia Earhart Luncheon, which welcomed more than 140 students and chaperones.
Amanda Rich was named Outstanding Member for her behind-the-scenes support across multiple projects, including managing the club’s website and social media. The Outstanding Board Member Award went to Susan Tanner, treasurer and chair of the Finance Committee, for her diligence in maintaining financial records and mentoring committee members.
The President’s Award was given to longtime member Barby Crabtree for her consistent guidance, historical knowledge, and commitment to strengthening the club’s structure. The Bess Judd Award—honoring a member who embodies the spirit of Zonta through service, advocacy, leadership and support of the organization’s mission—was awarded to Lisamarie Williams.
The Zonta club also extended its gratitude to Club President Paige Kendrick for her leadership and vision in guiding the club into its next century of service and advocacy.
