Hands-on composting training and violence prevention

The Zonta Club of Madagascar, Madagascar, continued its environmental training initiatives this week with a hands-on session focused on the 45-day composting method.

Participants applied lessons from previous sessions, using a mix of grass clippings, dry and fresh leaves, soil and water to create sustainable compost. The next step in the process will take place in seven days, when the compost will be turned to aid in decomposition.

In addition to the composting workshop, the club held a sensitization session on violence against women, reaffirming its commitment to advocacy and raising awareness. Members emphasized the importance of standing together to say "STOP" to violence in all its forms.
