Zonta Club of Brampton-Caledon supports Habitat for Humanity with donation and volunteer build day
The Zonta Club of Brampton-Caledon, Canada, raised CAD$20,000 for Habitat for Humanity and joined a volunteer build day to help construct a new home for a family in need. Members measured, hammered, nailed, screwed, carried and assembled walls, contributing both their time and energy to the project.
Now in its second year partnering with Habitat for Humanity, the club continues to support the organization’s mission to provide safe and affordable housing. Their efforts will help ensure that a single mother or low-income couple has a secure home where they can thrive.
A new member shared, “This hands-on service project is what Zonta is all about—working together to literally build a better world for women and girls.”
