Greening for the future

The Zonta e-Club of Queensland, Australia, partnered with local school students, a native nursery and a landcare group to plant several hundred native plants to revegetate the school grounds. The project used only native species to support biodiversity and encourage local bird and animal life.

Designed as a legacy project, the activity allowed final-year students to contribute a lasting environmental improvement to their school community.
