From Governance to Global Impact: Empowering Women through Strategic Action
1 March marked a significant milestone for Zonta District 31 as leaders held the district’s fifth board meeting of the biennium.
Under the leadership of District 31 Governor Diana Cheng, members are positioning 2026 as a year of institutional impact. The district emphasized that change requires not only discussion but also building change through education equality, climate action, ending child marriage and education.
The event recognized the 40th anniversary of the Zonta Foundation for Women, with members continuing to show that the power of women can change global structures.
Transparency and solid governance were also central themes of the meeting. District leaders reaffirmed their commitment to financial discipline to ensure that service initiatives remain sustainable and impactful for future generations.
District 31 members also celebrated Rose Day in March, highlighting advocacy for women in local communities.
