Fashionable female power: Love yourself, love the Earth

The National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) Golden Z Club, in partnership with three local charitable organizations, hosted the event “Fashionable Female Power: Love Yourself, Love the Earth” on 13 March, at the Pingtung City Disability Welfare Center. The event drew 108 participants and highlighted women’s empowerment through health education and environmental awareness.

The program featured hands-on workshops, women’s health courses, food-saving campaigns and the distribution of care packages. The event aimed to raise awareness about food waste reduction and the importance of eco-friendly diets while promoting women’s rights and well-being.

In alignment with Zonta International’s mission, the event emphasized the need to improve the status of women, advocate for gender equality and create lasting social impact. Organizers encouraged attendees to recognize and support Zonta’s global work.

As part of the club’s commitment to menstrual equity, sanitary products were distributed at the school’s Comprehensive Building and at Pingtung City’s Millennium Park, ensuring access to basic hygiene for women and girls.
