An evening of cinematic storytelling and creative exploration will spotlight six student filmmakers from Sarah Lawrence College’s Filmmaking and Moving-Image Arts program. The event, held in collaboration with the Zonta Club of New Rochelle, USA, marks the first partnership of its kind, celebrating emerging voices in film.
Each student will present a short film, offering audiences a behind-the-scenes look at their creative process and the inspiration behind the stories they’ve chosen to tell. Following the screenings, the filmmakers will engage in Q&A sessions, inviting discussion and reflection on their work.
Guests are invited to enjoy a night of compelling films, engaging conversations and a post-screening reception with the filmmakers.
Special thanks go to Brian Emery, technical director of the FMIA program, whose support helped bring the event to life.
This unique showcase underscores the power of student storytelling and the exciting future of independent filmmaking.
