Zonta Clubs of Hualien II and Taoyuan launch Love to Campus initiative

The Zonta Club of Hualien II, Taiwan, partnered with the Zonta Club of Taoyuan to launch the “Love to Campus” outreach initiative, providing more than US$10,600 in scholarships and school development funds to three institutions: National Dong Hwa University, Hualien Girls’ Senior High School and Hualien Commercial High School. The joint effort aims to offer meaningful support to young women in the Hualien region.

The initiative reflects more than just financial assistance, but also empowering women and girls by expanding their educational opportunities and enabling them to pursue their goals with confidence and dignity. Many of the students receiving assistance come from families significantly affected by recent typhoon disasters, adding urgency to the clubs’ support.

Students expressed their gratitude through handwritten thank-you cards, sharing sincere and heartfelt messages that highlighted both their resilience and appreciation. Club members noted that the students’ words served as a reminder of the profound impact that targeted support can have on young women facing adversity.
