Zonta Club of Ibadan I welcomes District 18 governor for special visit

From 24–26 April, the Zonta Club of Ibadan I, Nigeria, proudly hosted District 18 Governor Opeibea Omaboe for a memorable visit.

The club held a special luncheon at Zonta House, where Governor Omaboe was warmly received by distinguished Zontians, including Past International President Folake Solanke (SAN) and Past District Governor Omotayo Morgan. The gathering celebrated leadership, fellowship and Zonta’s shared vision for service and advocacy.

In a moment of mutual appreciation, the District Governor visited Folake at her residence, where both leaders exchanged books as tokens of respect and solidarity.

“We were honored to host such an inspiring and accomplished leader,” the club shared, reflecting on the meaningful exchange of ideas and camaraderie throughout the visit.
