Zonta District 24 says YES to gender equality

From 4 to 14 March, the palm trees at Iron Wharf Place, Darling Harbour, was adorned with yarn bombing and thought-provoking messages to raise awareness of domestic violence and gender equity.

This artistic installation, titled “Zonta Says YES to Gender Equity”, features handcrafted yarn art created by members of the Zonta District 24. The display highlights the challenges and achievements of women across various sectors while introducing Zonta International to the public.

Through a series of posters and visual storytelling, the exhibition encourages reflection, awareness and action in support of gender equality.
