Zonta Club of Cebu I holds February meeting and participates in Area 3 gathering

The Zonta Club of Cebu I, Philippines, held its February general membership meeting, bringing members together to learn, reflect and connect.

During the meeting, Club Vice President Nancy Puentespina Berame delivered a presentation on self-love through self-care, reminding members that before we serve others, we must also take time to nurture ourselves — mind, body, and spirit.

The session was full of learning, laughter and wonderful interaction among Zontians.

Seventeen members of the Zonta Club of Cebu 1 also represented the club at the District 17 Area 3 meeting held in Cagayan de Oro.

During the event, members wore Luau attire for the Welcome Dinner and modern Filipiniana-inspired tops on Opening Day. They received the Crowd Favorite Award for Audience Impact at the Mamma Mia-themed fellowship night.

Participants also visited Dahilayan Adventure Park, taking part in team-building activities that highlighted camaraderie and resilience among Zontians.

Despite challenging weather conditions brought by Typhoon Basyang, the meeting continued as planned, with members focusing on learning, collaboration and strengthening the shared mission of advancing women’s empowerment and leadership.
