Zonta Club of Bangkok II empowers dreams at scholarship ceremony
The Zonta Club of Bangkok II, Thailand, proudly hosted its 42nd Annual Scholarship Award Ceremony for 2025, empowering students from kindergarten through university with scholarships totaling 208,000 THB. This longstanding program supports students in accessing essential educational resources and enhances their learning opportunities, paving the way for brighter futures and improved quality of life.
A special lecture by Suda Sulong, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development at the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, inspired all attendees with the message, “A Safe Society Starts with Us – No Bully, Just Buddy.” The lecture resonated deeply with distinguished guests, scholarship recipients, teachers, parents and Zonta members, calling for a world free from bullying, where every child knows their rights, feels safe and has the support they need.
The session encouraged scholarship recipients to actively participate and share their insights during a Q&A, followed by the distribution of prizes and uplifting advice.
Moreover, the Z Club of Satrinontaburi School received vital funding for 2025 activities. The Z Club advisor unveiled plans for impactful community service projects, including providing educational supplies and essential goods to students at Wichit Witthayakarn Border Patrol Police School and Mitramuanchon 2 School in Kanchanaburi Province.
Together, the club and student clubs empower women and girls and their communities to build a society where education, safety and equality are attainable for everyone.
